“We had an amazing time at Paw Paw's cabin. Carrie was incredibly easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. The cabin is very well appointed and Carrie thought of everything you would need and then some. The cabin is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our day trips to Acadia and the Bay of Fundy. One of our favorite parts of our entire trip was sitting in the backyard of Paw Paw's cabin watching the loons on the lake and enjoying a fire in the firepit. We will definitely be back.”

“Paw paws cabin is a beautiful slice of heaven. It has everything you need that is super clean and having the lake was absolutely stunning. We had fires every night, roasting marshmallows. The loons, sunrises and stars at night were awe striking. The cabin brought memories back to my mother in law and her family getaways to Maine. Coming from Seattle this stay was all we could have hoped for. We visited Acadia, Bar harbor, Bangor and nearby towns, but our time at this cabin is something we’ll never forget! Good Note: Carrie fairly warned us of construction and it was not all a disturbance!”

“Paw Paw’s cabin is a great retreat on Pushaw Lake. The cabin is so cute and we enjoyed the evenings listening to the loons and sitting by the fire. Carrie responds very quickly and is very eager to make you happy!”

“We stayed at the cabin for 7 nights, it was by far the best family vacation we had in the longest time! The location is perfect, the cabin is the perfect size (for a family for 4), although a pull out sofa and/ or a daybed in the living room might have been even more convenient. The cabin is super cozy yet modern, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make delicious home cooked meals. They have a spice rack which we thought was just a great addition to any air b n b kitchen. The mugs and plates are handmade which I love. You can tell the hosts have spent a great deal of time and thought in putting it all together with the personalized details that read Paw Paws Cabin. We spend some days entirely just at the cabin enjoying swimming on the lake, hanging out on the dock, making fires, playing games. We also got to experience near wonders like Acadia National Park, hiked part of Cadillac Mountain and jumped in the cold water at Sand Beach. Bar Harbor is also a little gem of a town. These destinations are about 1 hour 20 mins of the cabin just FYI. Oh and you can rent canoes for just $5 / hr at a nearby campground. There is currently some construction happening near the cabin, Carrie was very understanding and in the process of mediating this issue with the neighbor’s at the Townhall. After the first day the noise was no longer a problem and the matter had been resolved. I was happy with Carrie’s attentiveness with this issue. 5 starts alllllll around.”

“I am reluctant to give a 5 star review because this property is wonderful and I want to rent again next year. Steps to the lake, newly remodeled, quiet, comfortable…checks all the boxes. The TV and Laptop were never turned on, which says a lot. Great communication as a small issue was quickly resolved. Would rent again in a heartbeat.”

“Great place for a nice weekend away at camp. My local family was able to visit me and my grandson here for our stay and we all had a blast. Fishing and camp fires were our favorite!!! The place is so adorable and perfect for pictures!”

“Perfect Lakeside Cabin. Clean. New. Super quiet. Just far enough away from Orono to feel remote but close enough to drive in (20mins). It had the smell of new wood when we walked in. Comfy beds. Dock to jump in the lake from. Firepit out front. They even left us firewood. Carrie was great to communicate with. We will be coming back for sure.”
